Geertruida "Teddi" Boggiano

Geertruida J. "Teddi" Boggiano, aged 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 4, 2014. She was born on March 26, 1940 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, immigrating to America in May of 1959. She worked in North Dakota on a farm and moved to Grand Rapids at the age of 21. Teddi was preceded in death by her parents; Jan and Adriana van den Born, father-in-law and mother in-law; Fred and Matilda Boggiano, brother Aart van den Born, and her granddaughter Maria Boggiano. She is survived by her husband of over 44 years Frederick F. Boggiano, children; Fred Jr. (Colleen) Boggiano, John (Jeanette) Boggiano, Greg (Connie) Chrysler, grandchildren; Nicholas (Amanda), Gina, Joshua, Sophia, Antonio, Dominic Boggiano, Michael, Matthew, and Rachel Chrysler, 9 nieces and nephews in the Netherlands, and special friend Madelyn Mill. Please join the family for visitation on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 5-8pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Additional visitation has been scheduled on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 10-11am at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (4865 11 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI 49341) immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Rev.
