George M. Fitzpatrick, aged 86, of Grand Rapids passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Heartland – Greenview. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, and his son Kevin. Surviving are his children, Mary (Ken) Brzezinski of San Diego, CA, Barbara (Jim) McLendon of Grand Rapids, Michael (Jo) Fitzpatrick of San Diego, CA, John (Kathy) Fitzpatrick of Grand Rapids, Kathleen (Tony) Dew of Ocala, FL, 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may meet his family for a memorial visitation at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 5-8 pm Sunday, May 29, 2011. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
