George J. Zoscsak aged 91 of Greenville and formerly of Grand Rapids and Freemont, MI passed away May 11, 2012. He was preceded in death by his first wife Christine Pavlovic Zoscsak in 1962, second wife Frances D. Jones Wert Zoscsak in 1997, sister Jeannette, brothers Leonard, Robert (Marilyn), John (Shirley), grandson Danial T. Zoscsak, daughter-in-law Tammie L. Dove Zoscsak, son-in-law John E. Heileman, daughter Betty (Wm Howard), son-in-law Stephen Mazei. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara Getts-McCowen Zoscsak, children; Jeanette (Vern) Staley, Carol Heileman, George (Corrine), Leonard (Carol), David, Michael (Julie), Roger (Dorene) Zoscsak, Carol Mazei, Verna (Dennis) Lovette, 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. George was a WWII Veteran and a Life Member and past Commander of D.A.V., VFW Creston Post, United Veterans Council of Kent County, past National Commander of National Order of Trench Rats, DAV past State Commander, Life member of Catholic War Vets, AML Post 47 and Polish Legion Post #83. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. The Rosary will be prayed on Monday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or Friends of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
