Gerald Jerry Henry Visser Sr.

Gerald Henry Visser age 85, of Grand Rapids passed away Friday, May 7, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Emma Visser, brothers; Gene Visser, Marvin (Lillian) Visser, sister Trudy (Jim) Bouman, sister-in-law Ann Marie Visser, nephew John Visser. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Joyce, children; Linda (Mike) Denney, Beth Ann (Tim McKey) Visser, Jerry Visser Jr, grandchildren; Jodi (Lonnie) Harley, Chad (Miranda) Latimer, Jamie Denney, great-grandchildren; Justin, Payton, Alanna Harley, Braden, Brody Latimer, brother Ken (Joan) Visser, sister-in-law Sonia Visser and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jerry was a proud WWII Veteran and loved to golf and fish in his free time. He worked as a salesman for Litscher Electric for 46 years. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Berkley Hills Wesleyan Church 1670 Ball Ave NE with Rev Kyle Brown officiating. Friends and relatives may greet Jerry’s family from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE and 1 hour prior to the service at church.
