In 1967, Trudy and Alvin Krueger were married. They spent almost 50 years together being partners, whether in business, travel, or life. They both passionately ran a Shaklee business out of their home for 37 years and loved their Shaklee family. Through Shaklee, they were given numerous travel opportunities all over the globe. Trudy had always said her favorite place she’d seen was Alaska.
Although she’d traveled all over the world, Trudy was happiest in her own backyard. She loved to drive around her property in her golf cart, tend to her flower garden, and visit her pond to feed her fish. Growing up as a farm girl, Trudy has always been outdoorsy but she was also quite sophisticated. She was always dolled up, even if it was to sit in her chair and enjoy the birds at the feeders and the deer in the yard.
Anyone who met Trudy knew she was special. She was always welcoming, positive, and felt so blessed because of the people around her. Even when her health began to decline, she remained appreciative for her Care Team, and never complained of any aches or pains. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Special thank you to everyone at Emmanuel Hospice for their care of Trudy.
Trudy was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, in 2014. She is survived by Al’s children, Ron Krueger, Yvonne Middleton, Judy Krueger, and Bob (Phyllis) Krueger; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her special friends and Care Team, Kimberly Young, Judy Klaver, Karen Mohr, Lori Eastman, Stacy Gesiakowski, and her great German Shepard protector Lexa, or “my Girl” as Trudy lovingly called her.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Private burial will take place at Fairplains Cemetery.
