

Gladys Kingsnorth, aged 89, went to be with her Lord on August 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Daryl and son John. She will be dearly missed by her family, 3 daughters, Ann (Wayne) Winters of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, Nancy (Paul) Kluzinger of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Sally (Carl) Chandler of Novi, MI, daughter-in-law, Jackie Kingsnorth of Hudsonville, MI, along with thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Gladys was a well known kindergarten teacher in the Northview School System teaching at Oakview Elementary School. Her love of teaching spanned over 25 years. She made it her mission to congratulate her students when they graduated high school by attending open houses or sending cards. Her second love was the piano, and Gladys would play for classrooms, parties, weddings and even the nursing homes. Gladys continued playing the piano up until her passing. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends may greet her family for visitation on Thursday August 23, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel. One hour of additional visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday at church directly before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to The Children's Campership Fund at Trinity United Methodist Church.
