Gordon Clifford Stone

Gordon Clifford Stone, aged 83, passed away in Sarasota, Florida and went to be with his Lord on January 25, 2014. Gordon was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Robert (Virginia) Stone, and he is survived by his wife of 62 years Billie, and their children; Richard (Sherry) Stone, Christine (Jeff) Brakefield, Vicki Nielsen, John (Marjorie) Stone, and Robert (Kristi) Stone. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and extended family and many friends. Gordon proudly served his country with the Army National Guard during the Korean War Era. He was past president of the Grand Rapids Chapter of American Production and Inventory Control Society as well as a retiree of Rapistan. Please join his family for visitation on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Additional visitation from 10-11 am followed by the funeral services for Gordon will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Second Congregational United Church of Christ (525 Cheshire Dr. NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan). Private interment in Rosedale Memorial Park.
