Greg Joseph, the nicest guy in America, passed away of ALS on March 17, 2016. He was beloved for his easy-going nature, his infectious smile, his positive attitude and kindness to all. He lived with courage and grace to the end, using the time he had left to squeeze in as many beers and baseball games as he could. He traveled through all 50 states on the ultimate life adventure and created loving memories with family and friends near and far.
Born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, Greg graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1977 with a B.S. in accounting. A loyal and dedicated worker, he spent his last years as CPA at Amway and Synder and Associates Tax, where he was known for his vast tax knowledge and constant willingness to help. His warm and calming presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
Greg was preceded in death by his mother Theresa and father Sarkas. He is survived by his wife Cynthia, his children Jennifer, Jonathan, Justin and Julia, his eight siblings and many nieces and nephews.
