Guy Dean Koorndyk, age 53, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Sr. and Sally Koorndyk and brother-in-law, Jeff Ligman. Guy will be missed by his siblings, Lisa (Richard) Thomas, Scott Koorndyk, Tracey Ligman, Earl Jr. (Amy) Koorndyk, and several nieces and nephews. Carrying on his tradition of Wednesday family card night, a Celebration of Life for Guy will be Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 from 5-10 pm at the family home, 2770 Northville Dr. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
