James Lincoln Plank, aged 90, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Rae, and their children; James (Marilyn) Plank, Leslie (John) Morrison, Patrick (partner Bradley) Plank, Steve (Karla) Plank, grandchildren; Christopher (Leslie) Plank, Jennifer (Bob) Simpson, Colin (Lisa) Plank, Kate (Ben) Maycroft, Carly Plank, and Jacob Plank. Also surviving are 6 great-grandchildren and his brother, Bill (Barbara) Plank. James worked for Bell Telephone for over 43 years and he enjoyed spending time with family both at home and at the family cottage. A Memorial Service will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Second Congregational Church, 525 Cheshire Dr. NE, Grand Rapids, MI. Visitation from 4 to 5pm, and a light dinner following the service will also be at the church.
