A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11:00am at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service at 10:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
Jane was born on May 23, 1921 in Grand Rapids, to Clayton and Mary (Faasse) VanDyke. She graduated from Davis Tech High School in Grand Rapids. In 1965 Jane married Clinton H. Peck. They were married for 42 years. Jane worked as an inspector for General Motors and retired after 33 years of service. Jane lived an active life and enjoyed playing golf as well as taking daily 5-10 mile walks through the neighborhood. She attended First Netherlands Reformed Congregation here in Grand Rapids. In her own words she lived a very full, fun, and loving life.
Jane is survived by her son David Van’t Hof; grandson Timothy (Deb) Van’t Hof; granddaughter Jennifer (Brian) Sheler; her great grandchildren David, Grace, and Emily; and her sister Laura.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Mary; her husband Clinton; daughter in-law Sharon (Tubbs); and her 6 siblings; Ruth, Nellie, Lois, MaryAnn, John, and Josephine.
