Jeanne Lorraine Reminga

Jeanne Lorraine Reminga, age 91, of Grand Rapids, departed this earthly home for her heavenly home, Friday, June 22, 2018. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI in the summer of 1926 to the late William and Anna Boluyt. Along with her parents, Jeanne is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles (2010); son Jon Edward; infant daughter Joyce Elaine and her siblings; Marvin, William, James, Connie, Wilma, Marie and Bernadine. She is survived by her seven children, Charles (Patti), William (Mary Jo), David (Joanie), Susan (Brad) Bugbee, Mark (Michele), Mary (Joe) Wagner and Jane (Greg) Mayhew; 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren as well as by her siblings; Joan Mast, Esther Dykstra, Madeline (Dick) Spaans, Neil (Liz), David (Mary), Betty (Paul) Kooyers and Katherine Kuzniak. Jeanne will be remembered for her strong Christian faith and her love for her family. She enjoyed her home and friends at Covenant Village especially her “Puzzle Making Friends”. She will be fondly remembered for her gift of gab and for bringing smiles to everyone she met. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Brian Kyle, will take place on Tuesday June 26 at 11 AM at New Community Church, (2340 Dean Lake Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). Please join Jeanne's family for visitation on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with an additional hour of visitation prior to her funeral at church.
