

Stormie dedicated much of her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally. She served the community through her work at Spectrum Hospital for 20 years and at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital for 10 years. After a successful 13-year career with Farmers Insurance, she retired and embraced her passions more fully.
A gifted vocalist and spirited performer, Stormie was a longtime member of the Grand Rapids Chorus of Sweet Adelines, where she made lifelong friendships and shared her love of music. She was also an avid traveler, exploring Europe, Alaska, Canada, New Zealand, Hawaii and Australia with her beloved travel group.
Stormie is survived by her sons Kurt (Lacey) Zalokar and Joseph (Kelly) Zalokar, and by her cherished grandchildren: Alexis, Zach, Connor, Abby, Brooke, Brayden, and Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joan Rogers, and brother Jack Rogers.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., at Reyers North Valley Chapel located at 2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI.
Stormie will be remembered for her kindness, joyful spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
