To John's family,
I have tried before to send a message of sympathy and for some reason it never showed up in the Guest Book.  So I am trying again to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are sorry to hear about the loss of John Boeheim.  He cared about the kids of Covenant House Michigan and was part of our family helping these homeless kids.  Please know that the family will be in our prayers during this time.

Boeheim Family,

I was sorry to receive the obituary in my e-mail from my sister, Janet Kliefoth-Mellema.  Janet is in FL for the winter and saw this in their paper from Grand Rapids.

It has been many years since we have all been together, but I do remember your Father well.  Always had a smile on his face!
My thoughts go out to you and your families.  It is always nice to know they are in a better place.

Peg, you and your entire family are in my prayers and thoughts at this time.  Your parents were a true testament to a loving partnership and were incredible people. We were sorry to hear about your father's passing. We have already missed him here in Alabama. There is no one calling about going to the casino or playing dominoes. Don and I visited your father a few days before we left on vacation and found him to be cheerful and prepared for his trip home.  I feel he is happy and rejoicing that his journey is done.
