Joseph John Dudek, age 94, of Grand Rapids died peacefully on January 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes and is survived by his children Thomas (Roberta) Dudek, Rev. Stephen Dudek and Mary (Steven) Cok all of the Grand Rapids area and two grandsons Daniel (Kathryn) Eardley, Chicago, IL., and Michael Eardley, Chicago IL. Joseph is survived by brothers Chester Dudek, Donald Dudek and Frank Dudek all of Grand Rapids MI. Joseph was a World War II veteran. He worked many years at Owen Ames and Kimball until his retirement. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Church, (2275 Diamond Ave NE). with Rev. Stephen Dudek and Rev. George Darling presiding. Family will receive visitors on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Blessed Sacrament Church, and again on Saturday morning from 10am until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church or San Juan Diego Academy.
