Joseph Eugene Scheid Sr., age 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 13, 2015 at home, while in the company of family. He will be fondly remembered by his children Tom (Paula) Scheid, Theresa (Dan) Johnson, Jim (Meg) Scheid and Brian Scheid as well as 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Joe is preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances who passed in 2013 as well as his son Joe who died in 2002. Joe retired after many years as a devoted employee of The Fisher Body Division of General Motors and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe and Frances were avid bowlers and enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the family cottage on Scalley Lake. Per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Please join the family at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 6-8pm for a memorial gathering, with Military Honors at 6:30pm.
