

Judith was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Jankowski and half-brother Russell Spore. Surviving are her children; Gregory (Debra) Wemple, Pamela (Terry) Wier, Douglas (Amanda) Wemple as well as 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.
Judith grew up in Ludington, Michigan and attended St. Simon High School graduating in 1959. She later moved to Grand Rapids where she worked for the Grand Rapids Public Schools for more than 40 years. In the summer months she also worked for GRASP.
One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her cat Muffin.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 459, Marine Corp League Auxiliary Grand Rapids Chapter, Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Grand Rapids Chapter and the Women of the Moose Wyoming Michigan Chapter.
Please join her family for visitation on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on what would have been Judith's 81st Birthday on Thursday, January 13, 2022 beginning at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2275 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Additional visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
