Karen Lynn Brown

Karen L. (Bockheim) Brown, age 69, was born on September 9th, 1950 and passed away peacefully on September 26, 2019 surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy Bockheim. Karen was the beloved mother to Jennifer (Jesse) Meachum and the late Sarah Brown. She was truly adored by grandchildren Jesse Meachum IV and Rachel Meachum. Karen was the oldest sibling to the late Robert Bockheim Jr., Helen (Peter) Cain, Debra (Dennis) Dolphin, Kevin Bockheim, Randy Bockheim, Beth Strieper, Ricky Bockheim and Pamela Bessemer. She also had many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Karen cherished her family- she was a devoted mom, grandma and friend and always put family first. Some of her hobbies and interests included crafting and spending time at the senior center in her later years of life. Karen was proud to have been a nurse’s aid in nursing homes for over 30 years- she really loved her career. She will be missed so much by her dogs, Miley and Jasmine.

Visitation for Karen will be on Tuesday, October 1st from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or another charity of your choice.
