Kathleen Joan Niedzwiecki

Mrs. Kathleen Joan Niedzwiecki, age 60, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord Friday, August 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ann Boeheim, sister Marianne and brother John. Surviving are her husband of 39 years Mike, children Matthew (Yumi) Niedzwiecki, Meghan (Scott) Marcusse, brother Patrick (Barbara) Boeheim, sisters Peg (Pete) Gonzalez and Molly Scoby. Grandchildren Mika Niedzwiecki, Ashleigh, Kaylee, Stephanie and Anthony Marcusse. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends locally and in Florida. Kathleen enjoyed travel, especially to Walt Disney World. She will be remembered as a thoughtful and true friend. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the Reyers North Valley Chapel Thursday August 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday August 10, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2275 Diamond Ave. NE, with The Rev. Fr. George Darling as celebrant, with visitation from 10:00 AM until mass begins. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
