

Kathleen Anne Robrahn, aged 63, passed away on March 1, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathleen was born in Grand Rapids in 1951 to the late Richard and Mary Obetts. Surviving is her best friend and husband Gregory; their three children Krista Robrahn, Brad (Tara Robey) Robrahn and Kolleen (Selina) Robrahn; grandchildren Calvin and Sylas. Kathleen is also survived by four brothers; Thomas (Cindy), Timothy, John, and Richard (Lisa) Obetts; brothers-in-law James and Wesley Robrahn as well as many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was a student of Creston High School graduating in 1969 and a lifelong member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She was a devoted employee with both Bill Knapp’s and Applebee’s. “Chatty Kathy” was also an active member of the American Legion Boat and Canoe Post #356 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed travel, warm beaches, camping and the fun and excitement of casino gambling. She will be fondly remembered for the sincere love and friendship she has shared with so many. Please join her family for visitation from 3-5pm on Sunday March 8, 2015 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11am at St. Jude Catholic Church. An additional hour of visitation will begin on Monday at 10am at the church.
