She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Chech for 57 years. Lillian is survived by her children, Becky (Dean) Furey and Judi (Robert) Smith, her grandchildren RJ (Erin) Smith, Angela Smith, Randy (Jessica) Smith, Shelby (Steven) Babb and her great grandchildren Jay, Bella, Lillian, Neveah, Brody, Sophia, Aria, Remi, Hadley, Elijah, Odin, Lucia, Lukas and Jersey.
Lillian is preceded in death by her son, Timothy Chech and her great granddaughter, Lyla Garcia.
She will be most remembered by her love for children. She was a proud foster parents with her husband Frank for many years. Lillian loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, birds, flowers and she especially loved the Detroit Tigers.
She will be missed by many.
Lillian will be laid to rest at Fairplains Cemetery, 2056 Diamond Ave NE in Grand Rapids, on Wednesday, March 11 at 11:00 AM.
