Raised in the Catholic faith, she attended the parochial schools through the 8th grade. While in high school she was a majorette for the marching band. It was during these years that she met her future husband. Not long after graduating in 1961, Linda was united in marriage to Lester Moyer. In their free time, Linda and Les loved to golf and go fishing. Linda quickly earned the nickname “The Walleye Slayer” as she frequently found the tasty fish on the end of her line. They spent the summers camping with family in Cadillac, and they loved being "snowbirds" in Panama City Beach, Florida.
When she took time for herself, Linda, loved walking, bird watching and playing bocce ball. She enjoyed reading, especially murder mysteries. However, her greatest passion was her family. She was her kid’s and grandchildren’s greatest cheerleader, and she was the best Gigi to the great-grandchildren. The countless memories she shared will be cherished and her legacy will live on through those she loved.
