

She was preceded in death by her husband James in 1978, her daughter Rebecca Cribley, son-in-law Carl Harm. Surviving are her daughters; Roberta Denney, Karen (Bruce) Hovinga, Laurie Harm, grandchildren; Arnold Pitcher, Shenandoah Veele, James Denney, Bradley Hovinga, Amy Smith, Julie Hovinga, Jessica McCall, Brenna Harm, as well as 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Louise was a proud mother, who included raising her four daughters on her resume. She was active with P.T.A, Chairperson of Bluebirds; Campfire Girl and Horizon Leader, a room mother, member of Park Congregational Church, Chairperson of the Northeast Grand Rapids Mothers March, and passionate about the March of Dimes. She worked more than a decade for Dr. Henry Sullivan D.D.S. as an office manager before joining the Grand Rapids Public Schools in administration. She enjoyed fishing trips to Canada, and time with family and friends.
