Margaret Margy Lillian Boes

On Saturday, July 19, 2014, Margaret Lillian Boes went to be with her Lord and Savior, while surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Izetta Lamer, her brother Jack Lamer, sister Shirley Hoeffner and brother-in-law Wendal Fisher. Margy is survived by her life partner of 25 years, Tami Groothuis, and her children, Jackie Hornbrook, Chris and Trish Boes, and Alisha and Adam Kenyon; her grandchildren Rachel, Kendra, Jacob, Rebecca, Porter, Josie, and her great-granddaughter Talina. She is also survived by her siblings, Carolyn Fisher, Wally and Linda Lamer, and Darrell and Linda Lamer; her many nieces and nephews and her longtime friends Barb and Mary. Margy will be remembered for her love and faith in Christ above all else. She was a proud owner of Paper Moon Decorating, her business for 42 years. She was a creative minded person who had a passion for decorating and dancing. She also loved to go camping and fishing on Gun Lake. Margy was a very loving and warm person who was all about her family. She was the same way with her clients at Paper Moon Decorating, sharing stories and memories. Margy’s family would like to give special thanks to Lacks Cancer Center and Faith Hospice. Per her wishes cremation has occurred and there will be a memorial service on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with the Memorial Service starting at 2pm at Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville (3501 Fairlane Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418) The Family has asked that visitors use the west enterance.
