Marian Therese Fila Czachorski

Marian Therese Czachorski aged 95, of Grand Rapids passed away suddenly with her family by her side on Sunday, December 5, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Louis Czachorski, siblings, Catherine Hannah, Anthony, Anna and Ike Fila. Marian will be lovingly remembered by her children, John (Denise) Czachorski, Molly Jo (Steve) Jennings, grandchildren, Sara, Ryan Czachorski, Marykate, Allison Jennings, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to her card playing extended family and to staff and friends at Villa Maria for the loving care and friendship over the years. Marian loved; reading, hemming clothes, making soup, hunting mushrooms, watching her Tigers and Cubs games and her grand-dog Dudley. Being a part of her Bridge Club for so many years was dear to her heart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 2275 Diamond Ave NE with Rev. George Darling as celebrant. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends and family may greet Marian’s family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE and one hour prior to the service at church. A Scripture Service will take place 8:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
