Mary Jane Hirt

Mary J. Hirt, aged 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Glenn F. Hirt; and parents, Louis Lake and Josephine Walkowiak. Jane is survived by her children; Mary Jo (Mike) Brew, Glenn C. (Shari) Hirt, Jane Ann (Bob) Samuels, Nancy Anne Hirt, Karen Louise (Ernie) Kladder and Barbara Lynn Stob. Also surviving are her 13 grandchildren, 6 ½ great grandchildren, her sister, Martha Woodcox and her sister-in-law, Jean Hirt. She was a devoted wife and a loving, caring, and supportive mother who was concerned for her family until the very end. Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals be celebrated on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elk Rapids, Michigan with Rev. Robert Zuchowski presiding.
