I came to make Mary Jane's acquaintance via Mike, a colleague of mine during my years at Schuler Books. Mike would always speak so highly of his Mary Jane's kindness, intelligence, and fortitude in the face of her challenges. Mike's love and admiration for her was a thing of beauty and sincerity; may we all be loved someday like Mike loved Mary Jane and she, him.  I  did have the honor of meeting Mary Jane face-to-face at a Schuler Christmas party many years ago and she was just the coolest person ever.  She was a sparkling conversationalist, witty and sharp, and the care she and Mike shared for one another shone forth with brilliance and clarity.  My deepest condolences to Mike and all of Mary Jane's family and friends. What the Earth has lost, Heaven has surely gained for all eternity.

Mary Jane will always be in my heart. She was the most kind and loving person. The years we spent together will always be in my heart. She was the rock that held the family together. MJ is no longer in pain. Mary Jane was more than a sister in law, she was my sister.

We are so sorry to hear about Mary Jane.  She was such a kind and loving person.  Mary Jane was much too young to die.  Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Forever Friends is Beta Sigma Phi's theme for this year.  This is what Mary Jane is to all of us in the Grand Rapids area who knew her. We are thankful to her Mother for bringing her into our sorority and passing her gift of Sisterhood along.  She will certainly be missed.  Sympathies to her whole family!

Anyone who ever met this sweet woman would say the same thing....She was kind, warm & sincere - Always a helper & had a smile on her face; even when she didn't feel so great. Mary Jane was my sorority sister & she will be missed by all her Grand Rapids Beta Sigma Phi sisters. My sincere sympathies to the Limbeck family.

Mary Jane, words can't express the loss I feel.  You were like a daughter to me and my family loved you so much too! You were such an inspiration to all of us. You were never concerned about your own health but always thinking of everyone else. You were truly my best friend.  I will miss our phone calls but I no that you no longer are suffering but rejoicing with your Mom.
You no longer have to worry about your Pickline.  Rest in Peace!

Mary Jane was the nicest, warmest, kindest person I have ever known. Everyone I know who met her found her to be a wonderful, special person.  She was amazingly strong in the face of her illness, stronger than I could have been. 
We met in high school, became friends, and then something much more. God gave me a great blessing when He introduced her into my life. I loved her very much, and while she is no longer on this earth, she will always be in my heart. I shall miss her terribly, her passing leaving a void in my life that can not be filled. I know that she will wait for me in Heaven, and the reunion will fill me with indescribable joy.

You have always been an amazing woman. You gave so much of yourself to everyone in your life, putting your concern for others ahead of your own challenges. Even during difficult times, you rose above the hurt and remained true to your BSP sisters. I will miss you, sweet sister, and your heart of gold. Rest in Peace, sweet Mary Jane. Your grace in adversity was such an inspiration to so many. I am so glad I had the privilege to know you through Beta Sigma Phi and working with you on the Legacy parties. I will miss your gentle smile and kind ways. City Council events won't be the same without your sparkle. You left your mark on the hearts of so many. My condolences and prayers are with your family.

There is now a new angel in the heavens named MJ.  Although she is out of sight here on earth, I know she is watching over all of you and smiling because that's the way she was.  Her burden is now gone and she knows only happiness and joy.  Mary Jane was one of God's special "children."

We are so very sorry to hear of MJ's passing.
I first remember her as a 12 year old bubbly young girl running in the front yard.  Then a young woman fighting for life with determination and grace.  Always keeping a positive attitude and facing her challenges head on.  As a young woman Mary Jane was as our babysitter.  Someone we trusted to care for our children.  Then later in life as a friend who displayed wisdom and strength. She was a "sweet soul" and I will miss her and our conversations. God Bless Mary Jane.
