Sal was one of my favorites! He had a smile that could light up a room, stories that were interesting and comments that were always insightful. He was not one for crowds, but he would come talk to me one on one and was always a perfect gentleman. Some of the quietest souls have the greatest impact on the lives of others. My life was made richer by the friendship I shared with him.

I was a tablemate with Dr. Sal at suppertime.
I enjoyed his company very much.
He was very pleasant, quite and reserved.
He really enjoyed WII bowling. I will miss seeing him in the puzzle room.
