Ollie Beth Berry

Ollie “Beth” Berry, 73 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior, peacefully on December 25, 2019. She was born in Grand Rapids in 1946 to the late Glenn (Olga) Frede. United in marriage to the late James “Jim” T. Berry.

Survived by daughter Laura Williams, stepdaughters Kara (Lew) Meriweather and Karla Berry. Also survived by sister Cathy (Bob) Newberg, brother David Frede and Granddaughter Taylor Williams.

Preceded in death by parents Glenn and Olga and husband of 34 years Jim Berry. Also preceded in death by daughter Katherine Williams, brother Daniel Frede and sister Debra Aulbach.

Ollie was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a dedicated employee for many years at Eberhard Grocery Store and GRCC. She was loved by so many. She had a welcoming, big personality, and loved to laugh a lot. A loyal friend whose love was for her family. She will be deeply missed.

Memorial Visitation for Beth will take place, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2 Michigan St. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49503 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Craig Bickell will officiate.
