Peter was born on December 21, 1964, during the longest night of the year. Peter died at the Sanctuary at St. Mary’s on May 4, 2017. He will be lovingly remembered by his father, H. David (Ann Sullivan) Soet; mother, Christine (Jack) C. VanderWall; sister Dr. Johanna (Vincent) Soet Buzolits; step-brothers, Richard F. Paauwe and Christopher VanderWall; many friends, relatives and caregivers. He lived a quiet life in the shadows, enjoying what his limitations allowed him, a gentle soul who harmed no one.
