Reva Marie Presley

Reva was a 1973 graduate of Bath High School. She went on to pursue a few different careers throughout her life. She worked for the United States Postal Service, and when she lived in Colorado from 1988 to 1998 she owned and operated Rocky Mountain Video in Howard, Colorado. In her later years she work off and on as a waitress for Russ' restaurants. Reva had a passion for baking. She was a gifted cake decorator and candy maker - one of the many passions in her life! She also loved gardening, she had a knack for roses, which she learned from her father. Reva also had a lifelong passion for stock car races. No greater love and passion compared to her love for famed musician, Elvis Presley. She collected Elvis memorabilia, visited Graceland several times, and even changed he name to match! In her free time, Reva enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, and spending time with her furbaby, Memphis. Reva was a social butterfly and made friends wherever she went. She was always a confidant to those who needed it and always put others before herself. Her giving nature and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Reva was preceded in death by: father, William Sheldon Ackles; mother, Marjorie Lee Ackels; all 6 of her siblings; and close nephew, Michael.

Reva is survived by: children, Mandy (David) Grimsby, Dustin Kubik, and Lyndsey (Dawn) Sturgeon; honorary daughter, Brenda Kern; several furry grandbabies; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Melinda & Navaeh, Jan, Debbie, and Janice.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Corewell Hospice and nurse Toya for her kind and compassionate care of Reva in her final days.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be held the following day, Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 12:00pm, also at the funeral home. The family will welcome guests one hour prior to the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Corewell Health Hospice or The Humane Society of West Michigan.
