Richard F. Budzynski

Richard F. Budzynski, aged 98, passed away peacefully with his son Tom by his side, and went to be with his Lord on Thursday January 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, M. Julanne (Still) Budzynski on April 16, 2014, his parents Louis B. & Bernice A. (Klocko) Budzynski, his brother Louis R. (AnnaMay) Budzynski and his sister Norma J. (Frederick) Wheeler.

He is survived by his children Rick (Glenda) Budzynski of Columbus, Indiana, Karen Tachick of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tom Budzynski of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his grandchildren DiaMarie (Robert) Tachick-Stevens, Beckie (Andy) Tachick-Mellen; his great-grandchildren: Alexis Rae and Aaron, and his brother-in-law James (Doreen) Still.

Richard retired from Leitelt Elevator and Iron Works Company after 40 years of service. He proudly served our country in the US Navy during WWII, and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He served his community as a charter member of St. Isidore’s Benevolent Aid Society.

Please join the family for visitation on Tuesday January 16, 2024 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Parish where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery with his beloved wife.
