Mr Westman was my AP Instructor when I was a Senior at NHS. It was the toughest class in my 4 Years at Northview. When I took AP in Nursing School the following year, it was much easier than Mr Westman's Class. There was no way to bluff your way through his Class, you had to work hard every day. It ended up being my favorite Class and I respected Mr Westman very much. It was a great loss for Northview when Mr Westman left Teaching. I enjoyed reading the story of his life and that he was a Lutheran and enjoyed Fishing. God Bless Mr Westman and may his Family be comforted by Family and Friends.

Gayle and I always enjoyed Rick and Merry's company at church and our Senior group gatherings. Rick was always fun to be around and listen to his stories and advice.
We will miss him very much.

Great guy. Worked with Rick for many years and shared a huge interest in basketball with him. We also shared a lot of laughs.

When he retired from Haviland he passed his March Madness pool that he started on to me and I was very happy to keep it going to this day. I'll miss updating him on the results and sharing insults about our favorite teams.
