Dearest Mary, I am so very happy that Bob met you. You were his one true love, a kindred spirit. My heart (and Susan's) goes out to your family and his. As you know, Bob was helpful to me in my recent stuggle with cancer. His strength gave me strength. Being a cancer survivor, I know full well the journey Bob and you were on...a most difficult roller-coaster ride of emotions. As long as I am alive, Bob is also. As you know, Bobby Dale and I met in 1961...where did the years go? Many wonderful memories were created. We became men together. While the miles apart were great, our times remained special, timeless. While I have tears, there are still many more smiles. Mary, you are loved by many for making Bob an even better man. As you know, he touched many lives; and I am truly grateful for being just one. Please know that both you and Bob brought happiness to many. Finding the right words are difficult to express, yet the feelings are deep and sincere. I too loved Bob and always will. Another good friend, Drew.

Remembering some of the good times we had as children in that Carlen family. As his cousin who is the same age, it seems way to soon to let him go. The memories will stay however. My sympathies and love to the entire Krueger family.

Bob was a great guy and at one time could hit a one iron as well as a golf pro. When I built my house in 1992 I put in a pretty elaborate bar in my basement and at that time Bob was a liquor rep and he gave me tons of freebies to help set up my bar. Good man. Sorry for your loss. Bob Applegate.
