Rosalee and Joseph Beda

Rosalee "Rosie” [Fleet] Beda was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She graduated from Creston High School in 1949, married Joseph Beda in 1954 and had 3 children. Rosie dedicated her life to her family and taking care of others. She hosted fabulous holiday celebrations and attended all of her children's special events. Rosie also spent many hours enjoying her two granddaughters, ages 10 and 8. She was a lifetime member of St. Jude Catholic Church and her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She (and Joe) were long time members of the Casino Club in Grand Rapids. Rosie participated in golf and bowling leagues, served fish dinners and enjoyed many great times with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Beda; mother Ruby Fleet; sisters, Norma Lewis and Marlene Hall, and brother, Michael Fleet. She is survived by her children, Joe (Shirley) Beda of Grand Rapids, Annamarie (Thomas) Bauer of Rockford and Gregory (Mellissa) Beda and their daughters Molly and Kate of Whitehall. She is also survived by her brothers Norman Fleet, Robert Fleet and David Fleet. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on April 23, 2016 at St. Jude Catholic Church. The family will meet relatives and friends an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of one’s choice is suggested.
