Sharon Fay Pierce

Age 72. Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was sung home by her family on Monday, June 8th, 2015 where she was reunited with her family and friends that preceded her. She was born in Muskegon, MI January 13, 1943, to the late Clifford and Doris Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her step-father Cyril Redding, sister Jane Longcore, brother Clifford Mitchell, and her mother and father in-law Warren and Elaine Pierce. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years Dan sr., her daughter Myrta (Russ) Palmer, and sons Dan jr. (Tammy) and David sr. (Lori) Pierce. Also surviving are grandchildren Sara, Jake (Rachel), David Jr., Lacey, Tessa, Ben, Hailey and Hanna as well as twin sister Karen (Truman) Redding, brother Gary (Deb) Mitchell, step-brother Carl (Jackie) Redding, sisters-in-law Barbara (Bill) Benson, Marve Mitchell, brothers-in-law John Pierce, Tom Longcore, as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Sharon was a devoted employee of the Amway Corporation for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed her hobby of ceramics and camping with her family and friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Sue Petro officiating. Interment Findlay Cemetery in Ada Township.
