Shirley Mae Boyle, age 91, of Grand Rapids, MI was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was born in Grand Rapids in 1927 to Marvin Glass and Margaret Powell. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Arnold and Betty Sauriol. Shirley is survived by her sister Joyce Thowson, nieces Marcia Nuvill, Laura (John) Ottenwess, and nephew David (Sue) Chesney. She will be lovingly remembered by her special friends Betty Linck and Lynne Henry. Shirley was employed at the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors for 30 years. She was promoted to office manager in 1983, a position she held until retirement. Shirley was an avid bowler for many years and enjoyed traveling and the theater. A farewell service and celebration of her life officiated by Pastor David Westover will be held on Monday February 19, 2018 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, with the service starting at 12:00 noon with a luncheon to follow.
