Steven is survived by his loving wife, Jane Bristol, his children, Kathryn (Howard) Snow, Steve (Heather) Baker, grandchildren, Tara Snow, Devan Baker, Skylar Baker, nieces, Melissa Brink, Kali Jo Aleman, brother in law, Thomas Corlin, and several cousins.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Grandpa. Anytime Steve’s ears caught tune of The Rolling Stones, he was sure to be rocking an ear to ear smile – and he’d be just as sure to share it with you. He loved his rock and roll almost as much as he loved his granddaughters. Steve had a gift and a pride in taking part in his granddaughters lives, he was patient and kind and lovingly involved. From art projects, time at the chess board, or simple trips to the park, Steve adored these moments. He loved them dearly. Steve cherished these times all the greater with his loving wife, Jane, of which they shared 44 years together. He also loved the great times when he would travel to northern Michigan, especially to his favorite destination; Copper Harbor. Steve enjoyed when life afforded him the moments to be beachside; including on Grand Haven as well as on Naples beach in Florida, where Jane and he owned a condo for 23 years. He was everyone’s best friend, a man of kind strength and genuine good times. He loved his wife and his family. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Grandpa will be missed by many.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.reyersnorthvalleychapel.com for the Bristol family.

I first met Steve in 1978 when we worked at Majic Market on Plainfield. Of course we lost touch for many years, I met up with Steve and Jane again at mutual friends couldn’t believe he was still the same cool hippie , rock and roll Steve from back then. I’m so glad that years later we hooked up again and I got to meet your cool wife Jane. I remember your Bristol dogs being yummy and sitting on your back deck listening to music. Thank you Steve and Jane for always making me feel welcome. You will be missed Steve.
