Thomas J. DeYoung, age 72, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary Lou; his children, Mike and Teri DeYoung, Patti and Jon Tanis, Tim and Shelley DeYoung, Judi and Roy Anderson; nine grandchildren; his sister, Joy and John Gillette; many nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wished, cremation has taken place and a Service Of Remembrance will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday at Northland Baptist Church, 4162 Hunsberger N.E. with Rev. Duane Costello and Rev. Russ Osbeck officiating. Relatives and friends may meet his family at the church one hour prior to the service.
