Thomas Allen Neuhaus

Thomas A. Neuhaus, age 82, of East Grand Rapids passed away peacefully on October 4th with his wife of 50 years, Carol, by his side. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael. In addition to his wife Carol (Burger), he is survived by his sons Michael (Denise) and David (Julie); daughter Katie (Chuck) Garavaglia of Farmington Hills, MI.; sister Hilma (Lyle) Belson; brother Frank Neuhaus; as well as his grandsons: Levi, Simon, Jared, Andrew and Max. Tom was born in Grand Rapids and moved to Rockford as a child. He enjoyed playing cribbage and taking the road less traveled. He truly loved his family and hearing of their adventures. He was especially proud of his grandsons. Please join Tom’s family for a time of visitation on Wednesday, October 8th from 6 – 8pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, October 9th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church (1449 Wilcox Park Drive, Grand Rapids, MI 49506) with one hour of visitation prior to the time of service.
