OBITUARY
Verna Alberts
Verna F. Alberts, age 78, of Plainfield Township passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 after a long battle with cancer at Northview Manor. She was preceeded in death by her husband Kenneth Alberts, brother Calvin Morel and son Kenneth Alberts Jr., sister Elaine Pearson. Surviving are children; Coleen (William) Ransome, Joseph Alberts, Bonnie (Dan) Lucht, Grandchildren; Thomas Ransome, William (Michelle) Ransome III, Brittany Ransome, Rose Lucht, Peter Lucht. Also surviving are brothers, sister, and brother in law; LeVern (Marion) Morel, James (Joyce) Morel, Ruth (Jack) Quartell, Bob Pearson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Thursday, March 24, at 11 A.M. with Tim Hadley officiating. Interment in Fairplains Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23, from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 P.M. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Funds for Christian Service with envelopes available at the funeral home.
