Vicki was a remarkable woman, born in North Muskegon and later migrating to the Grand Rapids area, where she graduated from Northview. She had a luster for life that was always met with radiance and love. That love was never met more than with her husband, Jacobus, of which they were blessed 47 years together. The two married after 11 days of meeting one another. Vicki was Jacobus’ “Silver Fox”. Together they shared a wealth of great times and love. Vicki enjoyed many times spent on the Harley Davidson with Jacobus. She was a great mother and loved her family dearly. She had a way of being naturally remarkable in her roles as a wife, mother, and Oma. Her humor and witty intellect was always sure to provide laughter and logic, and she knew when it was time to put focus on the latter. Her grandkids will surely miss her hugs and good food. She loved to be in the kitchen, preparing good eats for the family. She also enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, and tending to her garden. Vicki loved being outside in the sun, dressing to the 9’s, hosting holidays, entertaining friends and family and she sure loved her Golden puppies. Vicki, the Silver Fox, will be missed dearly, by many.
