Victor L. Yob Sr.

Victor Yob, aged 89, went to be with his Lord and rejoin his wife Angeline in heaven on Friday, May 24, 2013. He will be missed by all who loved him. Surviving are children; Victor Yob Jr., Carol (Jim) Gibner, Ron (Fran) Yob, grandchildren Jerry, Jennifer, Jeremy (Sara), Brandon, great-grandchildren; Noah, Dillon and Addison, brothers; Bill, Frank (Annette), and Ed, sisters; Faustina (Bob), and Rosie (Mario). Victor retired from Haviland Products after 45 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Casino Club, Vytautas Aid Society, and St. Alphonsus Parish. He enjoyed bowling, was an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoyed Richard Widmark movies, and trips to Little River Casino where he was always treated like royalty. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at St. Alphonus Parish, 224 Carrier St. N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505. You may greet his family for visitation on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from both 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel. An additional visitation, one hour prior to Mass from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, will be held at the church.
