Virginia Lee “Ginny” aged 68 cherished mother and grandmother finished her earthly journey surrounded by her family on January 24, 2011. After a courageous battle with cancer she was welcomed into heaven by her beloved grandson Brent Michael Newton. Throughout her life Ginny taught us the true meaning of unconditional love and sacrifice. She will be deeply missed by her son Steven and wife Gail, daughter Kathy and husband Dennis Newton of Grand Rapids, her granddaughters Kylie, Brittany, and Mariah Newton, sisters Marybeth (Bob) Chambers, Sally (Bob) Skyer, Nancy (Mark) Curtis, brother Mike (Nancy) Ozinga, many nieces, nephews, and friends, including special friends Bob and Pam Flint. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 28, 2011 at St Jude Catholic Church 1120 4 Mile Rd NE with Rev. Tom Page as celebrant. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 till the time of the mass at church.
