Virginia Ann Kowalski Moroski

Moroski, Virginia (Kowalski), 82, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2015. She is survived by William, her husband of 61 years. She is also survived by a sister, Mary (Kenneth) Mankel and six children; Jacqueline (Grant) Martin, Joseph (Dianna) Moroski, Jeffery (Susan) Moroski, Julianne (Brett) Ashba, Jane (Stanley) Harriger, Jerrold (Denise) Moroski, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Eileen Kowalski and a great-granddaughter, Britnee. Ginny was an active St. Alphonsus parishioner. One of her lasting accomplishments was to organize the funeral luncheon program in 1971 which she ran for over 40 years. Please join for Visitation at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Thursday, July 9, from 5-8 PM where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian burial, officiated by Father Lamar Partin and Father Tom Page, will be July 10, at 11 AM, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (224 Carrier St., Grand Rapids) with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catherine’s Care Center or the Co-Redemptorist Association.
