Virginia Mae Palmer, aged 84, went to be with her Lord on January 5, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Cora Palmer, and brother-in-law, Malcolm Strickland. She will be deeply missed by her surviving sister Marilyn Strickland, niece Cynthia (Roger) McLain, nephew Michael Strickland, niece Pamela (Steve) Jenkins, and great nieces and nephews; Stephanie Jenkins, Sabrina Jenkins, Sean Jenkins, Dylan McLain, Olivia Strickland, Michael Strickland Jr., Virginia retired from Blodgett Hospital where she worked for 30 years as a ward clerk. She enjoyed planting flowers, rose bushes, and spending as much time as possible with her great nieces and nephews. You may greet her family for visitation on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel.
