wendy was a kind and friendly addition to our Christian motorcyclist group. I esp. liked our lady get-togethers. For all who knew her knew what a blessing she was.

To one of my best friends, there are not words for how I feel right now. I am soooooo happy that we got to see each other twice this year and I can hear you laughing as you said, "I went through the pass through" at my house. You will never be forgotten, I pray you will smile down on us, and I will see you when my time on this earth is over. Peace and love to Sharon, Mom M. and all of your family.

Thanks for sharing dumb jokes with me at work. Thanks, too, for telling me the cute things your grandkids would do and say. I always enjoyed that. You are greatly missed. May God give peace and comfort to your family. They are in our prayers.

Did you ever know that you're my hero?  Everything I would like to be!

Thank you for touching my life in such a very special way!  Because you led me to the Lord 40 years ago I don't have to say goodbye!  I will see you again, my forever friend!  I love you so very much and will ALWAYS treasure our "perfect" weekend together in August! 

May our Lord keep His gentle loving arms around Sharon, Amy, Aaron and your beautiful families during this difficult time.  I love you all!

I will miss my funny, sweet, loving friend. She & I raised our families together. Our kids are all so close, like cousins. We were sisters for each other (while the bios were out of reach). She always had listening ears & wise words, always let loved ones know they were loved. She was my inspiration  & a God-send to the whole Clan Alspaugh. Wendy, you are so deeply missed. Now the day has come that we can't be together, but I'll keep you in my heart, & you'll be there forever. Til we meet again in God's heaven. I love you friend.

Wendy you are finally at peace.  I am glad I got to meet you, and even though I didn't really know you from what I did know was that you were a very loving and caring person with a little bit of a wild side.  Your smile and humor were always appreciated.  May you rest in peace and my condolences to the family.

Wendy will be greatly missed.She was a beautiful person in side and out. So kind and loving.  She was a brave women.

Though we never had the opportunity to meet- I can kinda get what kind of person you were- Aaron is like a son to me- you did ok- R.I.P Wendy

Such a perfectly pleasant, kind and caring woman...that could surprise the heck outta ya with her interesting sense of humor!  She taught me a lot as I grew through my teen years basically adjoined to Amy - from how important it was to make the kitchen a haven for gathering to how to let Bob Seger soothe your soul. From how to just be you in a photo (they turn out so wonderful) to figuring out what the heck "popping the clutch" was on my first car.  From how important it is to support other people without being condescending to the joy you can find living with grace.

Amy, So very sorry for your loss... Unfortunately, I can relate to the pain of losing a mother.. I hope she is dancing in heaven with my momma tonight! Hugs and prayers for both you and Aaron and your families!

Scrolling through 35 years of memories of having Wendy and family in my life, and I remembered a drawing she did on Amy's wall.  I finally figured out why I went home and colored on all my walls as a kid!  Thank you Wendy for being part of my family and helping create such great memories. Love you always!

Wendy was the sweetest and most caring person I knew in all the years she  worked at L-3. In the end, I always told her I would say a prayer for her and she sincerly appreciated that. She said was at peace with what may happen. You will be truly missed. May you now find your peace.

WENDY WAS ONE OF THE BEST MOTHERS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AS I CAN RECALL GROWING UP RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO HER. SHE WAS ALWAYS TRYING TO GET ALL THE KIDS TO DO THE RIGHT THING. SHE WAS ALWAYS WARM HEARTED AND ALWAYS GAVE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE AND ADVISE TO ALL THE PEOPLE AND KIDS THAT SURROUNDED HER BIG HEART! IM SURE SHE WILL DO WELL IN HER PLACE IN HEAVEN.
