Wes Heintz

Wes is preceded in death by father Wesley W. Heintz II, mother Lucille Aubil, father Wayne Aubil, son Matthew Heintz and his beloved cat, Jack.

Wes is survived by his wife of 44 years, Julia Heintz, and his children Camilla (Mark) Hooper, Gregory Heintz, Timothy Beukema, Amy (Tony) DeKubber and Abigail (Matt) Sobie, grandchildren; Nicole, Aleia, Casey, Heather, Lucas, Kayla, Curtis and Jacob and great granddaughter Kinsley.

Wes was a heavy equipment mechanic who worked all over Michigan, Alaska and South America. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Wes enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He loved anything to do with the military or history and was an avid reader.

A Gathering of friends and family will be on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at Reyers North Valley Chapel Funeral Home, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please make donations to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
