Mr. Moroski was my godfather. My dad and Bill were friends through school and when my mom Millie and dad Jack found out I was coming, he wrote Bill asking him to be my godfather. He replied with telegram that he would but he was in the army and couldn’t be there. Before my parents passed, my mom gave me that telegram which I still have. The stories my dad would tell about his baseball prowess and about the pranks they would pull, especially on Halloween night on Prospect St. I knew he was on Adak Island while in the army and I knew there was a reason why my first duty station in the navy was Adak, island. I wish I could be there to pay my respects but I’m going through some medical tests that cannot be missed. My thoughts, prayers and memories and respect of both Bill and Ginny go out to them and the family. God Bless
