Wyvondia grew up in Benton Harbor, MI with her mother and older sister Candiace. She attended Grace Christian Elementary School and received her GED from Lakeshore Community School.
Wyvondia (aka Wy) was a collector of I Love Lucy memorabilia and enjoyed watching Lucy reruns on TV. She loved to collect candles of various sizes. She played the trumpet in high school and won several ribbons. She also played the guitar and piano and loved music by the Gaithers.
She was an avid computer user and maintained a variety of social media connections with many friends. She loved animals and had taken in several stray cats from her neighborhood, making them part of her household.
Wy is survived by her mother Marilyn Stoddard of Battle Creek, MI, and her sister Candiace Lard (Larry) of Niles, MI. She is also survived by two aunts--Dianna Tyma (Battle Creek, MI) and Clara McLaughlin (Euless, TX) and two uncles--Wayne Thompson and Larry Thompson as well as several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
Her longtime special friend and caregiver, Will Losey, also survives.
A private family committal service will take place in Millburg, MI .
